I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Sport Psychology consultant. After having spent years as a researcher, a full time professor and an entrepreneur I found that the most rewarding experiences were those shared with my clients; so that’s where I spend most of my time. I believe that no matter what situation you find yourself in, the negative experiences and symptoms of today do not need to impact us tomorrow!
If you are like many, we repeat the same patterns and get frustrated that they do not bring the results we want. Simultaneously, we’re often afraid to change – afraid to upset our lives and families, afraid to let people down, afraid of being judged, and afraid of the unknown. And there are times that even when we are ready to change, we simply don’t know what to do.
This is where I come in. I am empathic and dedicated to supporting you as you navigate through whatever challenges and struggles that have led you to this place of insight, growth, and change. I don’t tell you who to be; I empower you to show the world who you really are!
I work with clients with a wide ranging set of symptoms including attention deficits, learning and cognitive challenges, anxiety and panic, mood disorders and more. When working with clinical symptom presentations I utilize a variety of tools, techniques and methods that are the best fit for the client. I’m not a one tool or approach fits all. Together we find the approach that is a best fit for you.
I specialize in helping all individuals perform better utilizing evidence based techniques and strategies. I work with athletes ranging from world class level athletes including professionals across many sports and Olympians to the young developing athlete trying to make their way to the top. These same performance strategies are helpful to all walks not just athletes. It is not uncommon to utilize the same methods for entrepreneurs, performing arts, business persons and professionals of various careers. After all, whether we are in the final seconds of a championship game or we’re parenting our adolescent, we all are performers!
